RuhrKunstMuseen

The museum network of the Metropole Ruhr

21 museums, 15 cities, over 130 art exhibitions a year!

The RuhrKunstMuseen stand for a unique museum landscape and an outstanding density of modern art, ranging from the 19th century through modernism to the present day. In no other cultural landscape are past and new beginnings, industrial history and cultural present, everyday life and art so closely interwoven as in the Ruhr region!
