The guests are game designer Marcus Bäumer (Blackwoods Entertainment) and sound designer Florian Högerle, who will talk about their professional careers and current projects.  

The aim of ArtLab is to give sixth form students an insight into artistic and creative professions. Throughout the school year, the programme includes meetings with architects, designers, artists, photographers and restorers, as well as in museums, universities of applied sciences and art academies. Face-to-face meetings alternate with digital meetings.

ArtLab has established itself as an interesting and successful programme in recent years. It is organised by the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen and sponsored by the Rotary Club Recklinghausen and the Engel Foundation.

Participation is free of charge and a certificate is issued for regular participation.

On the occasion of the finissage, we cordially invite you to the catalog presentation with Søren Aagaard on Saturday, August 3 at 5 pm in the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen. In the Et lille teater film set on the top floor, the artist will be serving original Danish smørrebrød with ingredients matured in the Kunsthalle. The artist talk will be held in English.

Between 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday, August 3, the performance Sørens Køkken can be seen in the city center. The performance is supported by NRWKS Wuppertal.  

On Sunday, August 4 at 12 noon, there will be a last free public guided tour of the exhibition (only in German). 

We also cordially invite you to a family afternoon on Sunday, August 4 from 3.30 to 5 pm (only in German).
