Opening on sunday, August 21, 2016 at 11 am in the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen

The exhibition focuses on current artistic positions from NRW.

In cooperation with the „new talents – biennale cologne“ ten artists, being nationally and internationally renowned by wining prices and scholarships, have been chosen to present their works in Recklinghausen.

„new talents – biennale cologne“ comprehends itself as a base for young and emerging artists from the diciplines of fine arts, film, design, composition and choreography. Every two years graduees from academies and universities as well as national and international guests are granted the oportunity to present their works in the Kulturquatier Agrippa in Cologne.

This years marks the biennale's fifth anniversary.

The exhibition project is supported by the cultural funding programme of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia with a focus on ‘individual artist support’ and by the Ministry for Family, Children, Youth, Culture and Sport

* Pupils, Apprentices, Students, Groups from 10 persons, Owners of the Recklinghausen Pass i.e. any other equivalent identification card from other municipalites, Owners of the Ehrenamtskarte NRW or the Jubiläums-Ehrenamtskarte NRW

The Kunsthalle is barrier-free accesible.

Guided Tours

The public guided tours are free of charge, only the entrance fee needs to be paid.

Per group (20 persons max.) a booked guided tour is 55,- Euro. Registration via tel. (02361) 50 19 35.

Approach

The Kunsthalle is located across the central station, close to the bus station and is accessible via all public transportations. An underground park station is located underneath the bus station.
